Dementia and Alzheimer’s care
Chenai’s care workers has considerable experience of caring for people with dementia in all care situations including: home care, live-in and end of life care. We invest heavily in training and developing our workforce skills in this specific area of care delivery. We want our care workers to be able to detect signs of dementia or memory loss so that early intervention measures can be taken, and support packages put in place without delay. This can have a major effect on managing the condition and helping families to understand and support their loved one. We also develop teams of specialist staff who can support somebody in the later stages of dementia to live within the community either on their own or with the close support of others.
