Carer Support

Supporting Carers in Essex is a group of charities working together to support unpaid carers of all ages across Essex.

Services available include:

Adult carer support in the community - Practical and emotional support, information and signposting, access to counselling and training
Hospital Support in 4 acute hospitals in Essex – practical and emotional support when the person you care for is admitted to hospital
Young Carers in schools – one-to-one support for Young Carers aged 11 – 18 years old within secondary schools across the county
Young Adult Carers – one-to-one support and personal development for Young Adult Carers aged 16 – 24 years old.
Carers of people at end of life (in partnership with Macmillan) – when the person you care for has a terminal diagnosis or is approaching the end of their life.
Carers Flexible Short Term Break Service - offering respite breaks for carers experiencing exceptional difficulties
